    I got an email from USCIS saying my I-485 case is now transferred to National Benefits Centre and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.
    I am travelling to India currently and plan to re-enter on AP.

    I wanted to know if
    1. anyone has any ideas as to what this really means, anyone received similar email, experiences?
    My priority date is not current so are they pre-adjudicating my case or planning to send a RFE??

    2. Should I take any specific steps while re-entering on AP?

    Agree with the cropping suggestion and also suggest you bring the highlights down some to bring out the detail in the barn roof and level out the barn. Just did a quick-and-dirty adjustment. You'll get better results from the original.

    As the title says, can I change from AOS to CP even though my PD is not current.

    Will the consulate process my case even if the PD is not current ?

    I guess, they should depending on the number of applications at the consulate.

    Please let me know whether I should take this route.

    Well my PD is Feb 2007 (EB2) so I was thinking of this route rather than wait for endless years in this mess :(

    My sister, as part of submitting documents for her fiance visa application, recently got a birth certificate. However, it doesn't have her name on it. Odd as it sounds, the municipality says that this is common practice. It just has the name of the parents.

    Is this acceptable for a fiance visa? Thanks.

    I was just wondering if it's posible to create my own specific 3D form on Swift 3D v2. The kinda one like a sample head given.

    If not, what programes could i use to create that forms and then import them to Swift?

    IV Members,
    My PERM Labor application was certified on Jan 24th 2011. Attorney received an email that the case has been certified and will send the approval notice shortly.

    Its been close to 4 weeks and have not received the hard copy. can someone share their experiences about the time line to receive hard copy.

(http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=138b6138f898d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=91919c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD) As of December 8, CIS has received approximately 61,500 cases against the regular (non-Master's) H-1B cap of 65,000. However, since CIS sets aside up to 6,500 of this 65,000 for nationals of Chile and Singapore, it is possible that they will stop accepting other H-1B petitions soon, if not already. We are still filing new petitions, but with fingers crossed that they are not too late. If you need to file, please do so ASAP.

    my visa , H1b expired, but have applied for H1b extension pending since Mar 2007, but i think as long as we are in legal status inside the country it should be fine - my 2 cents.
