My labor/I-140 documents show my salary to be 85K, I am yet to receive my I-140 approval from Nebraska Processing Center, filed in June 2006 under EB-2. Would it cause any problems when I file my I-485 ( priority date March 2004 ) next year if the salary for 2006 is less than 85K ? I was unemployed for two months this year unexpectedly. Can some1 help me to sort out my problem:

- I was working for a company A in L1-B which was about to expire by Dec 2006. So I applied for H1 and got the petition / application approved. I received the I94 also.
- But due to some reason, I travelled back to India and didn't submit the H1-I94 @ the port of exit.
- Now the same company A again processed me L1 in India and Im back to US after a yr. with the new L1 and never told any1 about my existing H1B visa

I need to know whether can I start looking jobs on that H1B without legal procedures?
Is there anything i have to do in order to activate my H1??

USCIS has updated the H-1B cap count. (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=138b6138f898d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=91919c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD) As of December 8, CIS has received approximately 61,500 cases against the regular (non-Master's) H-1B cap of 65,000. However, since CIS sets aside up to 6,500 of this 65,000 for nationals of Chile and Singapore, it is possible that they will stop accepting other H-1B petitions soon, if not already. We are still filing new petitions, but with fingers crossed that they are not too late. If you need to file, please do so ASAP.

Most of the shots given are booster shots. Two MMR shots?
Varicella needs to be taken twice at 1 month intervals, however most doctors sign and seal the package when you take the first varicella shot and then ask you to come back one month later and take the 2nd shot, if not, you can insist the doctor to do so.

Needed shots are MMR, TD and Varicella, all others are Age unappropriate for us(atleast the applicants and spouses).

On a serious note, you just have to inform your (dependent's) employer and provide them a copy of your unexpired EAD. Thats it! The employer may require you to fill a new I9 form.

Hi Friends,

As the Visa Dates are current, I want to file my 485 on July1st. Can I file the 485 for my wife and son at a later date(because they are travelling to india on june 16th and will be back on September 1st) or Is it a must that all of three(myself,wife,son) should file for 485 at the same time.

Can I add their names to my 485 later.?
Currently My wife and son(6years old) are on h4.

Gurus... help me here

I am trying to get an infopass to check my I-485 status
1. After selecting "you need information or other services" in the infopass process, The infopass is not showing me any appointment dates, instead it is showing "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."

I have done infopass before 6 months ago, and it showed me the date to select but now it is now doing that. just the message "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."

Does anyone faced the same issue and help me to get an infopass!

I was on H1 with my previous company but laid off last week. I have !485 AOS and EAD.

I believe I can straight away join any company (consultancy or any enterprise company) on EAD , right pls ?

if get a job offer from Comapny "A" and join them today and file AC-21 today and meanwhile say I get another job from another Company "B" after two days and join them, can I file another AC-21 without waiting to hear back from USCIS. I believe AC 21 is just informational for USCIS that I have switched the jobs.

Hello everyone,

I have heard that if you cancel your first LC and apply for a Second one you can still use the advertisements and all from the first one if you fall withing that "6 month" period. My question is -

Is it 6 month from the first day that the advertisement was published or is it 6 month from the day your first LC was approved? :confused:
Experts please shed some light on this.
